Amazing consultant and surgeon! Very friendly and professional in my pre op appointment, explaining everything that will happen. Made sure I was completely certain about the surgery. Over the moon with my results - she did amazingly! She made sure to seen me post op and asked me how I’m doing and if I had any questions.

I met with Kate on the morning of my surgery. I arrived at the hospital at 7.30 am as requested. Kate was chatty, reassuring and approachable. She has confidence about her that made me feel I was in safe hands. This has been an exceptionally long journey for me, once finally made the decision to go through the transition processes in 2017, it has taken several long years to be referred for surgery, although this part of the process was the fastest from referral to actually being in the hospital waiting for my turn. Kate was informative and personable, as with the rest of the team, they all seem to really know trans issues and I feel are totally behind us, understanding the issues faced by trans people. I know she gets it. which is refreshing, it feels like this is more than just a job. Kate has given me a life, I don't say this lightheartedly, she performed my surgery, and the results are absolutely outstanding. I have gone from having perhaps a c cup hairy breasts, that I have been hiding behind my binder for several years, to working out a lot to build up my chest underneath, not easy, when the results of this were pushing my chest out further, to having a male chest. I am only 3 weeks from surgery, but couldn't be happier, I feel like who I was supposed to be my entire life. Kate, I can't thank you enough, sincerely from my heart. You and your fantastic team have changed my life, you are all very special people. I can only speak for myself in saying that this is so embarrassing and painful, the only person aside from all of you while I was in the theatre, who has seen my chest as a man, is my partner, I am very much hidden, the shame around my chest was overwhelming at times. The result now, is that everyone who has looked at my chest has been amazed at how brilliant it looks, I shall be walking around topless for the entire summer!!! I would suggest anyone looking for a team who will change their lives, please ask to be referred to Manchester.

Kate Williams was my surgeon, she did her best to fully inform me of the procedure and keep me calm and at ease for the day ahead. The results for my surgery are beyond what i expected to, I couldnt be happier.

I have been a patient of Kate Williams for over a year now. She has been consistently caring and compassionate. She has addressed every concern and she has never minimised my worries. She is a god-send. I will be forever grateful to her for putting me back together physically and mentally.

I was seen by Miss Kate Williams today at the one stop breast clinic. She was absolutely lovely, so kind and caring. I felt I was in excellent hands and was treated with the upmost respect. In what can be an anxious time her caring manner meant a lot.
